WHAT IS NANONEEDLING?
Nano Needling has arrived in Scottsdale! Nano Needling is a cosmetic treatment vs. a medical treatment such as Microneedling. Nano Needling is a pain-free method of stimulating the skin by infusing active ingredients into the upper layers of the epidermis. This is done using microscopic Nano Needling tips that are thinner than a human hair. This unique design enables a high degree of product absorption that stimulates collagen and elastin production.

WHO IS NANO NEEDLING GOOD FOR?
Nano Needling is an effective, pain-free cosmetic treatment to reduce fine lines, acne scars, and large pores by improving the overall skin tone and texture and stimulating the production of collagen.
Nano Needling is good for almost all skin tones and types! This is exciting for those of us who are African American, African, Latin, Hispanic, Native American, Indian, Middle Eastern, Asian ancestry and people of mixed ethnicities who may not be able to safely utilize more aggressive skin care treatments.
A few exceptions: Nano Needling is contraindicated for those with active acne, currently pregnant, or those who have had BOTOX or other fillers in the two weeks prior to treatment. Additionally, Nano Needling may exacerbate rosacea, so caution should be exercised if you suffer from this condition.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MICRONEEDLING AND NANONEEDLING?
As you may know, both microneedling and nanoneedling promote skin cell turnover, deliver serum infusion into the skin, stimulate the healing process, and improve fine lines, wrinkles, and superficial acne scars without downtime.
Microneedling is a medical treatment and nanoneedling is a cosmetic facial treatment.
Nano needling is NOT going to address deep wrinkles or loss of elasticity. Nano needling will do little for deep acne scars, stretch marks, or surgical scars (for example, tummy tuck scars).
Who this treatment is for?
This treatment is highly effective if you’re hoping to reduce the appearance of fine lines (especially around the eyes and lips), improve the tone and texture of your skin, shrink pore size, reduce pigmentation or lift and firm the skin.
What is the difference between micro-needling and nano-needling?
Nano-needling Therapy is very similar to micro-needling and both treatments address many of the same skincare concerns. Both treatments utilize a needling device that punctures the skin, which helps products fully absorb and encourages rejuvenation. The main difference is the depth that the needles penetrate the skin. Micro-needling penetrates the deep dermis whereas nano-needling only reaches the upper layer of the epidermis. Micro-needling is preferred if your skincare concerns are deep acne scars, deep wrinkles, stretch marks and hypo-pigmentation. Nano-needling is preferred if you’re concerned about fine lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, swelling or dark areas.
What can I expect?
Nano-needling Therapy is an infusion treatment that sends a serum, customized for your skincare concerns, directly into the upper layer of the epidermis. Delivering serum into the skin this way helps to increase the effectiveness and absorption of the product. Nano-needling Therapy also uses radio frequency and LED Light Therapy to push products even deep into the skin for maximum results. This treatment helps to boost the production of collagen and elastin. It also lifts, sculpts, and tightens the skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Bottom line – it’ll take years off your face!
